Rules & Moderation

Fair play for creators

HungryFace is built on trust and transparency. Below are the basic rules, moderation architecture and ways to contact the team. Pizza protects the value of attention, and rules protect authors and readers.

Transparent thresholds and receipts

Every action comes with a visible cost. Members see how much pizza HungryFace eats and how much the community author receives.

Local rules take precedence

Community creators set their own thresholds, staking requirements and content formats. The platform only intervenes in extreme cases (fraud, illegal content).

Pizza is not a privilege

Buying pizza or boosts gives a chance for attention, not a guarantee. Every post goes through the same moderation and is subject to the same limits.

Safe P2P

Deals go through pizza escrow, disputes are resolved transparently, and most decisions are handled within the community.

How moderation works

Community self-moderation

  • Authors set thresholds for joining and commenting, can enable a daily pass, staking and penalties.
  • Internal polls — a tool for bans, feedback and rule changes.

Platform control

  • Anti-abuse: tracking rings, devices, activity spikes.
  • Automatic cooldowns and reduced signal weight when manipulation is suspected.

Curators and support

  • Dedicated curators help new communities, award pizza grants, teach the rules.
  • HF team intervenes when basic laws or platform policy are violated.

Basic code of conduct

  • Respect authors and members. On-topic criticism is fine, personal attacks are not.
  • Fraud, impersonation and publishing data without consent are prohibited.
  • Do not post NSFW/illegal content: the platform will remove it and apply a ban.
  • No mass pizza farming, vote loops or comment manipulation.
  • In P2P work, formalize agreements in escrow and confirm deal completion.

Escalation and complaints

90% of conflicts are resolved within the community. If the situation goes beyond local rules — follow these steps:

  1. Use community tools: reports, downvotes, internal ban.
  2. If the issue is critical — create a support ticket or write to our email.
  3. In disputed P2P cases, the platform acts as arbitrator based on the transaction log.
